• Court Bonds

    Court bonds are another service provided by The Wilstead Agency. A court bond may be required through court proceedings. Attaining a court bond provides protection to people that may be affected by financial loss due to the result of a court proceeding. The following are the different types of court bonds provided by the Wilstead Agency:

    Appeal Bond - A bond that is required by a court when filing an appeal. Also referred to as a Supersedeas Bond. Appeal bonds always require 100% collateral no matter how good the financial condition of the applicant.

    Custodian Bond - Also known as a Guardianship Bond, protects the rights of minor children or those who are not mentally capable of taking care of their own interests/assets. This bond ensures the rights of the party involved and protects them. It requires that guardians follow directions from the courts and protects the persons interests.

    Estate Bond - This term is another used for probate bonds.

    Executor Bond -This is another term for a probate bond.

    Fiduciary Bond - This is another term used for probate bonds.

    Guardianship Bond - A bond that offers a guarantee that a legal guardian of a minor, or an individual that is incompasitated or unaccountable will appropriatly manage the finances of the indivsual.

    Probate Bond - A requirement of the court that guarantees the exexcutor of an estate will distribute the assets of a deceased person properly.
